Rock*Star Entrepreneur – Manjit Minhas

Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Manjit got her introduction to the liquor business through her parents who owned and operated the largest liquor retailer in Calgary at the time. At the age of only 19, Manjit and her brother Ravinder launched their first beer in Alberta. (Mountain Crest Classic Lager)

A few years later they purchased the second oldest brewery in the United States and renamed it “Minhas Craft Brewery”. Since then, this brother and sister duo, has built that business into a group of companies that exceeded $155-million in revenue last year.

Manjit has joined Dragon’s Den as the new Dragon in 2015.
