The Notorious Art Party: Power Ball
Power Ball began in 1999 and has since been thriving as a determined fundraising event that provides essential funds for exhibitions and public programs at The Power Plant. This event has since set the bar as one of the most influential and lively art galas in the Toronto area. The gala attracts sophisticated well known guests, which brings together the world of fashion, cinema, media, finance, advertising, music and of course the visual arts. Power Ball is famous for transforming each gallery space into an interactive art experience, allowing guests to enjoy the lavishness of a vibrant gathering, all while being surrounded by site specific works of art. Some important past artists include CONFETTI SYSTEM, Jon Rafman, Jesi the Elder, Marisa Hoika and Philippe Blanchard.
This year The Power Plant is collaborating with fashion house Max Mara again to represent Toronto’s legendary art party, Power Ball XVIII: Pleasure Principal, which will take place on Thursday June 2 at 7:00 pm. A night that will be filled with fabulous art including projects by:
