FFWD Advertising & Marketing Week
After a successful 7 years, the FFWD Advertising & Marketing week continues from January 25 – 29, for it’s 8th year with notable speakers, presentations, networking parties, awards and galas. As this one of Canada’s immensely well-known and respected events, it allows students, CEO, or anyone in between with an advertising mindset to attend while giving the recognition and celebrating the accomplishments of the Canadian communications industry.
The Institute of Communication Agencies (ICA) spearheading the FFWD Advertising & Marketing week have come together to provide keynote speakers such as Scott Goodson, CEO & Founder of Strawberryfrog, Amir Kassaei, Chief Creative Officer of DDB Worldwide, Maurice Lévy, Chairman and CEO of Publicis Groupe, Carter Murray, Worldwide CEO for FCB providing information, advice and training.

With resources and free material from sponsors such as Rogers, AOL, Twitter, Yahoo, Toronto Star, Metro and Sheridan Pilon School of Business, just to name a few. Many events continue this year round consisting of the AOL breakfast which is conversing with AOL’s Chief Product Officer Ernie Cormier around success, trends and sustainability in a changing market. The AdBall which is a big industry party and a popular fashion show with clothing from Toronto’s best menswear store, GotStyle. Lastly, The Toronto Star Cocktail Party is a great networking platform with the ability to mix and mingle with those in the industry and to also listen to the Toronto Star keynote speaker.
